Gulf Medical University students of 44 nationalities celebrated GMU Global Day 2010, when each student swapped their usual uniform for more traditional wear from their own country. The colorful and vibrant campus came to life with students dressed elegantly in their ethnic wear. (more…)

Fifty trophies were presented on the concluding day of the 9th Annual GMUA Sports Festival held at the Gulf Medical University, Ajman. A weeklong Sports Festival was conducted at the University from May 1 – 6, 2010. The Festival had participants from 12 leading colleges and universities in the UAE vying for the trophies. (more…)

The renowned GMC Hospitals, based in Ajman, Fujairah and Dubai have opened their new facility in Blantyre City, Malawi, Africa.
The ultra modern hospital was inaugurated on the 28th of April 2010 by Mr. Chris Kang’ombe, Principal Secretary for Health, Government of Malawi in the presence of Mr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder President of GMC hospitals and Gulf Medical University Ajman, United Arab Emirates. This is our foray into African Continent and we wish to expand our facilities into other countries like Mozambique, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola and Mauritius in the years to come, said Mr. Moideen in his welcome address. He also added that this is a small step towards major developments in Africa that can be witnessed in the next 2 to 3 years. (more…)
