The Student Community at Gulf Medical University celebrated Ethnic and Cultural Festival 2009 which was one of the most colorful events in the campus celebrated both by the students and the staff. Ethnic Day serves as a platform for the students to highlight the ethnicity of their countries and display souvenirs in the pavilions decorated by them. Students also came in the traditional outfits. Prizes were given to the Best Stall, Most entertaining stall, Miss Ethnic, Mr. Ethnic and other categories. The event was full of fun and frolic activities. (more…)

GMC Hospital-Department of Pediatrics offers a wide range of services to children from the neonatal period till the age of 12 years, a healthy lifestyle is important to prevent many diseases. The best time to inculcate good eating habit is during childhood. To prevent these diseases in later life we have to start as early as when the child is in utero and early infancy. Parents need specific advice regarding this.

A weeklong Sports Festival was held at the Gulf Medical University, Ajman from 22nd to 2nd April 2009. The festival had participants of more than 21 colleges and universities from all over UAE vying for the trophies. The concluding day results of the various sports festival were announced during the Prize Distribution Ceremony held at GMU Sports Complex on 2nd April at 7:30 pm. (more…)
