College of Pharmacy, a constituent college of Gulf Medical University organized a Seminar on Pharmacy in the 21st Century - Learning Practice and Technology on the 19th of December 2009 at GMU Campus in Ajman from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm. The conference was inaugurated by the Provost of the university Prof. Gita Ashok Raj. Earlier the delegates were welcomed by Dr. Arun Shirwaikar, Dean College of Pharmacy, GMU.

‘Health Journal’ published by the Gulf Medical College Ajman has completed nine years of its presence in the UAE and Middle East. Only publication of its kind, printed in English and Arabic (back to back) was started in April 1999 as part of the college’s commitment to Informative Medical Journalism. What started as a 28-page issue grew up to become a well-recognized health magazine with 100 pages in its present format. As the most acclaimed health magazine in the region, HEALTH Journal enjoys a wide readership in over 42 countries.
