Gulf Medical University students of 44 nationalities celebrated GMU Global Day 2010, when each student swapped their usual uniform for more traditional wear from their own country. The colorful and vibrant campus came to life with students dressed elegantly in their ethnic wear. (more…)

Fifty trophies were presented on the concluding day of the 9th Annual GMUA Sports Festival held at the Gulf Medical University, Ajman. A weeklong Sports Festival was conducted at the University from May 1 – 6, 2010. The Festival had participants from 12 leading colleges and universities in the UAE vying for the trophies. (more…)

Around 1000 people ran for the Annual Fun Run - RUN FOR HAITI on March 12th 2010 in Ajman which was organized by Body & Soul Health Club Dubai. This initiative was taken in association with GMC Hospital and Gulf Medical University Ajman both of which are a THUMBAY GROUP ventures.

GMC Hospital and Research centre is organizing a free Arthritis check up and consultation camp on Friday 25th December 2009 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The Hospital urged Patients suffering from various arthritis problems to avail this opportunity. Doctors in their expertise will be present to examine the patients at the camp and offer consultation.
Patients will be told about the symptoms of arthritis and its characteristic features thereby a Patient being referred from the camp will be given discounts on further treatment.
GMC Hospital provides all specialized treatments of joint pain with help from a team of specialized orthopedic doctors. The hospital is equipped with all modern state of the art machines, and the Hospital is planning to conduct such health camps regularly for the benefit of the UAE residents.

More than 200 attended the Free Dental camp conducted by GMC Hospital, Ajman
Ajman, 21, November, 2009- More than 200 Patients attended the free Dental Camp organized by GMC Hospital Ajman on 19th & 20th November 2009. The camp is in collaboration with the College of Dentistry of Gulf Medical University.
The objective of the camp was to provide mouth and teeth health education and treatment. It aimed at educating the public about the problems of neglecting dental health.
The highlights of the camp were:
Free Dental Checkup & Consultation.
Patients requiring further dental treatment were privileged with 50% concessional charges on certain dental procedures
