Around 1000 people ran for the Annual Fun Run - RUN FOR HAITI on March 12th 2010 in Ajman which was organized by Body & Soul Health Club Dubai. This initiative was taken in association with GMC Hospital and Gulf Medical University Ajman both of which are a THUMBAY GROUP ventures.

College of Dentistry, a constituent college of Gulf Medical University organized a Conference on Inter Disciplinary Approach for Comprehensive Dental Care at its campus on Saturday. More than 75 doctors and healthcare professionals from all over UAE attended the seminar. The conference was held in association with the Ministry of Health. (more…)

Ajman- February 18-2010:- The Thumbay group launched a new chain of Optical Shops by announcing the opening of its first outlet ZO&MO Opticals, A Chain of Optical Shops at GMC Hospital on 17th February 2010. GMC Hospital, AJMAN with its team of renowned and qualified doctors, state of art radiology and laboratory department has started attracting patients beyond GCC countries. Today it has received the first patient from Nigeria. The concept is unique where general well being of a person is combined with tourist attractions of UAE. GMC Hospital, received a child yesterday night (27th Night) at 10:00 P.M in the evening brought by the family living in Sharjah drowned in the swimming pool in Sharjah, Child was pulse less no respiration and pupils dilated, GMC Emergency doctors headed by Dr. Tameem took quick action and provided necessary emergency treatment and the child was brought back to life.
The doctor advices all parents to be very careful of such incidences and if such incidence occurs they require to bring the patient immediately to the nearest hospital and not waste time.
The father of the child was very happy and relieved by the quick response given by GMC Team to save his child.
